From the beginning of the book, the reader of Job is told that Job is good, upright, fears God and avoids evil.
It was the faith and goodness of Job, not hidden sin that was the reason for the attack.
Use multiple trusted translations when studying a verse. Break the verse down into words. Look at the words in the Hebrew or the Greek and in the Strong's Concordance.
Job was a good man, he was a very, very good man. He was not an innocent man. Job was not a perfect man.
