When speaking with Jewish people, please call the Old Testament, the Hebrew Scriptures. It is the Word of God. When we call them the Hebrew Scriptures, it recognizes they wrote, protected, at times died to protect, the Word of God and the way of following God.

While replacement theology is not true, we have been grafted in and enjoy the blessings of Abraham, with our Jewish brothers, who have accepted Jesus as their Savior.

But Ruth said:
"Entreat me not to leave you,

16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

"Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you."
18 'I will be a Father to you,

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.
 

"See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
