Life Lessons Referenced
Life Lesson (Psalm 42:2)

Man, or woman, is made up of three parts: Spirit, Soul, and Body.

Bible Tip (Psalm 42:11)

That last great day of the Feast of Tabernacles (or Hoshanah Rabbah) tells us much about the prophecies of the coming Messiah.

Life Lesson (Psalm 43)

We should put our hope in God. When we are discouraged, we should read our Bibles, worship God with others, fellowship with a life group and pray, which is both talking AND listening.

Life Lesson (Psalm 42:2)

Our spirit reaches out to God and our ‘spiritual side’. It can lead us to light or lead us to darkness. Our soul, or psyche, is the seat of our will and emotions. Our body is our physical being, and all things physical.

Life Lesson (Psalm 43)

Do not try to quench your spiritual thirst with physical things. We each were born with a spiritual thirst that can only be quenched by a relationship with God.

Life lesson (Psalm 42:2)

When we are ‘Born Again’, we are forgiven, and our spirit comes alive.

Life Lesson (Psalm 43)

Sometimes when we are anxious or depressed, it is because we have drifted from God or lost sight of God. Man tries desperately to solve this problem without God, but we can’t. We need God to be spiritually complete.

Life Lesson (Psalm 42:2)

Being sanctified is our soul reaching out to God, connecting with God, and in the process blessing us and the Lord.

John 3:5-8 NKJV
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'  8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
Rom 8:16 NKJV
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
Rom 7:24-25 NKJV

Matt 13:44-46 NKJV
(The Parable of the Hidden Treasure)
44 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
(The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price)
45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,  46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Eph 2:8-10 NKJV
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Jer 31:3 NKJV
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:

John 4:9-18 NKJV
9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
11 The woman said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?"
13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,  14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
15 The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."
16 Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
17 The woman answered and said, "I have no husband."
Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,'  18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly."
John 7:37 NKJV
On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

From the wells of salvation.
