We should serve God out of love. It shows we are truly thankful for all He has done for us.

If you are a Christian, then Jesus paid a high price for you and you now belong to Him.

Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,

5 But if the servant plainly says, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,'6 then his master shall bring him to the judges. He shall also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.

28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!

But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

So he, trembling and astonished, said, "Lord, what do You want me to do?"

And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.

And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!

who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.
