Always remember who you were before you met Jesus.

Followers of Jesus should care and be willing to sacrifice for those that do not know Jesus as their savior.

We need to understand that Jesus was Jewish.

Our spirituality does not begin and end with our understanding.

And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.

30 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people,"You have committed a great sin. So now I will go up to the LORD; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin."31 Then Moses returned to the LORD and said, "Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold!32 Yet now, if You will forgive their sin -- but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written."

And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country.

For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.

Those who come He shall cause to take root in Jacob; Israel shall blossom and bud,
And fill the face of the world with fruit.

Their ancestors were great people of God, and Christ himself was a Jew as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

7 The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;8 but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt

16 Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.17 The sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

So Moses went down to the people and spoke to them.

5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
