We should desire to serve God out of an expression of our love for Him. Not for a desire of position or prominence.

We should all desire to serve God and to be workers in the harvest.

Do not hold bitterness or unforgiveness in your heart. It will spiritually damage you and those around you.

So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, "Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?"
