Change the way you think, and you change the way you live.

When we don't care for the things of God in our life, we can lose the 'God things' and the good things in our life. We can lose the things we don't make time for or support.

We should honor each other and especially those God has called.

We should be careful who or what we listen to.

We should make a commitment to go to church, get blessed and be a blessing.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.

1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. 2 On the fifth day of the month, which was in the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's captivity, 3 the word of the Lord came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was upon him there.

1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the articles of the house of God, which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the articles into the treasure house of his god.

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.

And he said to his men, "The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the Lord's anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord."

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

So David said to him, "How was it you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the Lord's anointed?"

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

The Lord, the God of their ancestors, repeatedly sent his prophets to warn them, for he had compassion on his people and his Temple.

11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won't be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

But the people mocked these messengers of God and despised their words. They scoffed at the prophets until the Lord's anger could no longer be restrained and nothing could be done.

2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to the Lord. 3 Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit; 4 but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.

And He said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?

When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures.

"Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Because you have not heard My words,

"In that day," says the Lord, "I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people. 2 This is what the Lord says:
"Those who survive the coming destruction
will find blessings even in the barren land,
for I will give rest to the people of Israel."
3 Long ago the Lord said to Israel:
"I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.
