Be a student of your spouse. Spend time growing in the knowledge of one another.

Marriage is hard work. Invest time, money and energy into each other in order to persevere to the end.

Don't allow the joy of someone else's relationship to destroy your own.

Humility prepares our hearts to rightly receive God's blessings.

We have a choice whether to allow immorality into our life or to reject it. Choose wisely because the consequences may last a lifetime.

You have ravished my heart, My sister, my spouse;

1 Oh, I wish you were my brother, who nursed at my mother's breasts. Then I could kiss you no matter who was watching, and no one would criticize me. 2 I would bring you to my childhood home,
and there you would teach me.  I would give you spiced wine to drink, my sweet pomegranate wine.

5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,

3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

18 "I tell you the truth, when you were young, you were able to do as you liked; you dressed yourself and went wherever you wanted to go. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and others will dress you and take you where you don't want to go." 19 Jesus said this to let him know by what kind of death he would glorify God. Then Jesus told him, "Follow me."  20 Peter turned around and saw behind them the disciple Jesus loved—the one who had leaned over to Jesus during supper and asked, "Lord, who will betray you?" 21 Peter asked Jesus, "What about him, Lord?"
22 Jesus replied, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me."

5 I am dark but beautiful, O women of Jerusalem— dark as the tents of Kedar,
dark as the curtains of Solomon's tents. 6 Don't stare at me because I am dark— the sun has darkened my skin. My brothers were angry with me; they forced me to care for their vineyards, so I couldn't care for myself—my own vineyard.

By humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches and honor and life.

3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

[Love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

We love Him because He first loved us.

The rod and rebuke give wisdom, But a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.

13 Do not withhold correction from a child, For if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. 14 You shall beat him with a rod, And deliver his soul from hell.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
