The book of Job calls people to unreserved dedication to God.

From the book of Job we see that from very bad things, very good things can come.

We can learn how to be a better friend from the book of Job.
We can learn how not to be 'Job's Comforters' or the 'friends of Job',
by not assuming things we don't know, (jumping to conclusions)
by not giving condemning statements,
by not feeling proud because we aren't suffering.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars."
