When we are fearful we can be spiritually manipulated, so we are in danger. Ironically it can be our fear that puts us in danger, not the situation itself.

Many people think that satan had no knowledge or awareness of Job before the conversation with God and God almost sold Job out to satan, saying 'hey do you know about my servant Job? Why don't you attack him?'

God will never tell anyone to not honor their commitment. God will not tell anyone to not honor their word. When someone does not honor their commitment or word it is the flesh and putting themselves over the needs of others, there is no excuse.
