The ancient people watched the stars for signs from the beginning of time. It was only through patiently watching the stars for a long time, recording where they were, when they were, that one day after many, many, many years they saw a star that was different...that star led them to Bethlehem.

Keep doing good. Keep using your gifts. Keep blessing people and being blessed. Don't get rattled.

The true measure of a person is not how they do when all things are going well. The true measure of a person is how they do when tough times happen.

It hurts to find out someone is not loyal. Jesus knows and understands this.

The heavens declare the glory of God;

3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."

3 Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. 4 They will say, "What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created."

A friend loves at all times,

9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

"Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil.

Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
