God asks each of us to trust Him by submitting to an imperfect person.

We are each imperfect, and have had imperfect people teaching us about relationships.

A believer needs to have dreams, visions and goals; given by God and based on the Bible.

Worry and fear focus on the temporary.
Faith and courage focus on the eternal.

Believers live with an eternal perspective in a temporary world.

Jesus is teaching us about relationships through His Word and we are empowered with His Holy Spirit.

Relationships can be broken. They can be healed.

15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel."
16 To the woman He said:
"I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be for your husband,
And he shall rule over you."

Where there is no vision, the people perish:

Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
"Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
