The church is to be a city of refuge.

We all have the opportunity and the responsibility to serve the local body of Christ.

Celebrate your freedom by serving God.

God is faithful, God does give the victory and God keeps His promises.

11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,"Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

2 Then you must set apart three cities of refuge in the land the LORD your God is giving you to occupy. 3 Divide the land the LORD your God is giving you into three districts, with one of these cities in each district. Keep the roads to these cities in good repair so that anyone who has killed someone can flee there for safety.

25 Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies),26 then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, "Whoever is on the LORD's side -- come to me!" And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him.27 And he said to them, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.'"28 So the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about three thousand men of the people fell that day.29 Then Moses said, "Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, that He may bestow on you a blessing this day, for every man has opposed his son and his brother."

9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

12 Dearest friends, you were always so careful to follow my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away you must be even more careful to put into action God's saving work in your lives, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. 13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. the next three chapters we will take one at a time. Jesus asked was it not enough? Dying for you, being beaten was it not enough to cover what ever sins you have committed? God’s covenant with us is not going to fail.
