Jesus takes us just as we are but loves us too much to leave us that way.

Love one another, lives depend on it.

To live for the Lord simply means our life is not all about us.

Don’t trust in your ability to follow God trust in God’s ability to lead you

He must increase, but I must decrease.

1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

...you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think,

3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

We put no confidence in human effort. Instead, we boast about what Christ Jesus has done for us.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So I live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

For to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
