Too often we remember what we should forget, and we forget what we should remember.

The best way to keep from being deceived is to keep your knees on the ground, (prayer) and your nose in the book (reading the Bible).

We are being distracted from not doing God’s best, by doing what is good.

The reason Christianity works is not because people are such good followers, it’s because Jesus is such a good leader.

You are complete in Him.
You are complete in Jesus.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk in him,
rooted and built up in Him
and established in the faith,
as you have been taught,
abounding in it with Thanksgiving.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

• built up in Him, Christ Jesus the Lord
• established in the faith by Christ Jesus the Lord
• as you’ve been taught by Christ Jesus the Lord, the word of God
• abounding in the faith in Christ Jesus the Lord with Thanksgiving 

• receive Christ Jesus
• walk in Christ Jesus
• rooted in Christ Jesus
• built up in Christ Jesus
• established in Christ Jesus
• taught by Christ Jesus
• abounding in faith by Christ Jesus with Thanksgiving.

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

19 "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.  20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
