As Christians in the United States, we will have many presidents, but we will only have one king, Jesus.

Grace is getting what we don’t deserve. Mercy is not getting what we do deserve.

The grace, mercy, and sacrifices of Jesus are the source of our blessings. The grace and mercy of God are given, and not sold; they are consistent, eternal, and everlasting.

Us earning forgiveness through good works is a lot like trying to purchase forgiveness from God, or from one another.

God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble.

26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” 28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.
