Never believe you are above temptation.

Usually when you are pointing one finger at someone you are pointing three fingers at yourself.

The most powerful and worst deception is self deception.

Our falls always teach us best.

Use whatever God has given you to serve God and glorify the Lord.

Keep alert and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you. For though the spirit is willing enough, the body is weak."

18 I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn, I can't make myself do right. I want to, but I can't. 19 When I want to do good, I don't. And when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway. 20 But if I am doing what I don't want to do, I am not really the one doing it; the sin within me is doing it.

You will be accepted if you respond in the right way. But if you refuse to respond correctly, then watch out! Sin is waiting to attack and destroy you, and you must subdue it."

If you think you are standing strong, be careful, for you, too, may fall into the same sin.

Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.
