The Lord always knows more than us.

When you mess up turn back to the Lord, do not turn your back to the Lord.

When you are wrong, 1) admit it 2) ask forgiveness for it 3) learn from it 4) get on with your life

Do not blame others for your sins and your faults.

And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.35 The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah.36 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, and Kenaz; and by Timna, Amalek.

"Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt,18 how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God.19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget.

But if through the power of the Holy Spirit you turn from it and its evil deeds, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
