There is a time to run.

I should let go of the spears in my life and lean on God.

Do not focus on what is wrong in my life but focus on God and his goodness.

We should take responsibility for our actions when we mess up.

12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

23 You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.

3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

15 Look after each other so that none of you will miss out on the special favor of God. Watch out that no bitter root of unbelief rises up among you, for whenever it springs up, many are corrupted by its poison.

7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise.
