18 A wrathful man stirs up strife,

28 A perverse man sows strife,

Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave; Yes, strife and reproach will cease.

Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights.

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

5 And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind and unstop the ears of the deaf. 6 The lame will leap like a deer, and those who cannot speak will shout and sing! Springs will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams will water the desert.

15 "Friends, why are you doing this? We are merely human beings like yourselves! We have come to bring you the Good News that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them.

13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
